What is HireMO?
HireMO is a modern labor exchange that helps job seekers build a stronger profile, explore better-fit opportunities, connect with employers, and access workforce support in one place.
How does HireMO recommend jobs for me?
HireMO uses information such as your preferences, location, assessment insights, education, experience, certifications, skills, and job-search activity to recommend opportunities that may be a stronger fit for you.
Am I required to apply to jobs HireMO recommends?
No. Recommendations are here to help you focus your time. You stay in control of which jobs you view and apply for.
Does a strong match mean I will get an interview?
No. A strong match can help you identify promising opportunities, but it does not guarantee an interview, job offer, wage, or employer response.
Will HireMO connect with jobs.mo.gov or MO Jobs?
Yes. HireMO works alongside Missouri’s existing workforce systems to help keep key information aligned where integration is available.
Can I update my profile after I create it?
Yes. You can update your profile after setup so your information stays current as your goals, experience, or preferences change.
Who can see my profile information?
Authorized staff can view information needed to provide workforce support. Employers may be able to see your candidate profile, assessment results, and documents such as your resume or cover letter. You can choose to suppress certain information from employers, including assessment results, last name, email address, phone number, street address, or your entire profile.
Can I choose how staff or employers contact me?
At this time, job seekers cannot set a preferred communication method inside the platform. You may receive communications through enabled channels, and you can unsubscribe from SMS/text messaging.
Why do my job search results look different from a traditional job board?
HireMO is designed to reduce noise and show opportunities that better align with your profile, preferences, and search activity. You can still explore and filter jobs on your own.
Why am I not seeing a specific job?
A job may not appear because it is no longer active, does not match your current filters, has been removed as a duplicate, or is not available in HireMO yet. Try adjusting your search terms, filters, or location settings.
Will employers know I am interested in a job?
Employers cannot see when you simply view or save a job. Employers may see candidates who are referred to a job or who select the Apply button through the Interested Candidates area on the job posting.
Can I save jobs to review later?
Yes. You can use the heart icon to favorite a job and save it for later.
What are skill-gap insights?
Skill-gap insights help show where your current experience, skills, or credentials may line up with a role and where you may want to keep building. They are meant to support planning, not limit your options.
Will HireMO tell me what training I need?
HireMO may suggest areas to explore or skills to strengthen. Training decisions, program eligibility, and funding questions should be confirmed with workforce staff.
Can HireMO help me prepare for interviews?
Yes. HireMO is designed to provide personalized tips and guidance that help you prepare, present your strengths clearly, and take practical next steps.
Will I receive email or text reminders?
Yes. Email and SMS/text messaging are available in the platform. You may receive reminders for messages, appointments, events, referrals, and related next steps. You can unsubscribe from SMS/text messages.
What does it mean if staff refer me to a job, event, or training opportunity?
A referral means staff has connected you with a job opening that may be relevant to your goals or profile. You still decide what action you want to take.
Can I decline or ignore a referral?
Yes. You can review a referral and decide what action to take. Referrals are meant to support your search, not make decisions for you.
What should I do if I cannot access my account?
Use the available support option in HireMO or contact the designated support team for help. Account recovery may depend on whether the issue is related to HireMO, existing workforce systems, or another sign-in path.
What if something on the page is not loading correctly?
Try refreshing the page, checking your internet connection, or using a supported browser. If the issue continues, contact support and include the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and any error message you saw.
Can staff complete actions for me?
Authorized staff may be able to help with approved actions in Staff Assist Mode. Staff-assisted actions are clearly labeled and auditable.
